This award winning Roof Garden in central London was constructed as a Staff rest area on
the fourth floor of a 20 storey office building.

The deck and the TimberGrid were treated with a wood stain to enhance the soft look to
this lovely garden.

We then added a hardwood rail to the planters to complete the overall effect.

You can see the construction is straighforward, it is also possible to see the benefit of
the darker stain to the treated TimberGrid.

The next two pictures show how air ducts can be hidden beneath the planting.

Here you can see the planting as it matures and fills out, with the benefit of an irrigation
system this only takes a couple of growing seasons.
